Cedarcrest Lacrosse is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization. Volunteering your time is an invaluable gift. There are many tasks that need to get done, such as fundraising coordination, team management, scorekeeping, timekeeping, field setup and more.  Without our volunteers we would not be able to accomplish all we set out to do. Parents of players and others interested in volunteering…We need your help! Watch for a sign-up as the season gets closer. If you are interested in coaching, please reach out to Val Hammer ( We appreciate each and every one of our volunteers!

We are very excited for the upcoming season of Cedarcrest Lacrosse.

New Chest Protection Requirement

US Lacrosse has issued a new standard to further prevent Commotio Cordis - an often lethal disruption of heart rhythm that occurs as a result of a blow to the area directly over the heart. Although rare, it is great to see our governing body take such a proactive stance in requiring this new design. What this means to you as  a parent or player:

  • Beginning in 2021, only a goalkeeper chest protector designed for lacrosse that incorporates the NOCSAE ND200 standard will be legal for play and shall contain an SEI certification mark.
  • Beginning in 2022, field players must wear protectors for commotio cordis that meet the NOCSAE ND200 standard and contain an SEI certification mark.
